More information is contained in the section "About Me", but as the daughter of Salvation Army ministers, I gained an understanding of the importance of funerals, their importance and the care and support of people during this very hard and sad time of their lives.

My parents died at 53 and 63 years of age and 11 years ago my precious son Aaron died when he was just 17. Kahil Gibran's words have a special poignancy for me. "That which gives you joy, gives you your greatest pain."

When you lose someone you love, your life can never be the same, but by grieving in a healthy way you
can, in time, live a happy and successful life and gain a new inner strength and peace that maybe you
never had before. Healthy grief, I believe, starts with the funeral service being a fitting tribute and
celebration of the life of your loved one.
