I believe it is an honour and a responsibility to be asked to conduct a funeral. The funeral takes place when people are most often in pain and suffering from extreme grief. Preparing the service comes at a time when it is hard to think clearly, but the family want it to be a special tribute and a celebration of their loved one's life.

I meet with the family and with empathy encourage them to share with me their loved ones life so I can prepare a service that reflects and encompasses everything they want.
